PROJECT Wi-Fi BlueprintAREA Lake Oswego · West Hills · West Linn

A million-dollar home shouldn't run on dollar-store Wi-Fi.

I come to your home, scan every room, and build you a custom Wi-Fi Blueprint: a real floor plan, a before-and-after coverage map, and the exact plan to get every room online. So you stop guessing, stop buying mesh that doesn't work, and stop dropping Zoom calls in front of clients.

02 / THE PROBLEMDIAGNOSIS

You're not bad at tech. Consumer Wi-Fi is just bad at your house.

  • You've gotten the “your Internet connection is unstable” message mid-presentation, with a client watching.
  • You paid $600 for an Eero Pro 6E and it still drops in the back bedroom.
  • You've watched your device count fall from 35 to 5 and back while the smart home freaks out.
  • Your camera was offline the one night someone was actually on the porch.
  • “Dad, the Wi-Fi's down again.” Three times a week. Usually during dinner.
▍ Signal loss per hop

Mesh nodes use the same radio to talk to your devices and to each other. So you lose about half your speed every hop. In an older Portland home with plaster, lath, and brick, you're down to a fraction of what you pay for by the second node.

Router100%
Node 1~50%
Node 2~25%

More nodes won't fix it. A wired backbone will. That's the whole reason I build a Blueprint before anyone buys a thing.

03 / THE DELIVERABLESCOPE

A real engineering plan for your home, not a guess.

Most companies eyeball your house and hand you a quote. I don't. I build you an actual blueprint, the same way I'd plan a commercial install.

KEYWHAT'S IN YOUR BLUEPRINT
A

Whole-home LiDAR scan + floor plan

I scan your home and build a precise 3D floor plan. Already have plans from your builder or architect? Even better, and faster.

B

Material-aware coverage design

I map your walls, doors, and windows, and what they're made of, because brick and plaster are exactly why your signal dies. Then I model where coverage holds and where it drops.

C

Before / after coverage map

You see your dead zones in red and what full coverage looks like in green. No more wondering why the office upstairs is a black hole.

D

Good / Better / Best plan + real budget

Three clear options with real numbers, so you know exactly what it takes and what it costs before you spend a dollar on hardware.

A coverage map, equipment plan, and install quote like this runs $375 or more, and most consultants charge $250 to $350 just to come look. The Blueprint is $295, and every dollar comes off your install if you move forward.

04 / THE VISITWHAT TO EXPECT

Here's exactly how it goes, so nothing's a surprise.

The scan is thorough, which is the entire point. Here's the honest version so you can plan your day around it.

01
On-site capture · 30–45 min

I walk every room with you and a scanner

You walk with me the whole time. Nobody wanders your house alone. I scan each room, note your wall materials, and ask how you actually use the space, so the plan fits your life and not a template.

Heads up: for those 30 to 45 minutes we're moving through the whole home. If someone's on a call or a kid's napping, this is your cue to plan around it.
02
Off-site design · on my time, not yours

I build your digital twin back at my desk

I take everything back to my design tools and draw in every door, window, and wall material by hand. This is the slow, detailed part, and you're not standing around watching me click. You get your day back.

03
Your review · ~30 min, usually next day

We get on a call and I walk you through it

I share my screen and take you through your coverage maps and your Good / Better / Best options. You see the red-to-green difference and exactly what each plan costs. If you move forward, your $295 comes right off the top.

↳ EASY MODE

Already have floor plans? Builder plans, architect drawings, even the floor plan from your listing. Send them over when you book and we can usually cut 20 to 30 minutes off the visit.

06 / GUARANTEETERMS

The Blueprint is risk-free. So is the install.
